Priv Review: Does Form Activewear Hold Up From Studio to Street?

We tested Priv's Form activewear line and matching loungewear sets to see if the pieces actually move between a workout and running errands, the way the brand promises.

Loungewear brands love the phrase "studio to street," but most of that gear quietly fails one half of the promise — either it's too technical to look intentional off the mat, or too soft to actually hold up through a workout. Priv's Form line is built specifically around that overlap, so we tested the leggings and bralettes through both a studio session and a full day out.

Form leggings under real movement

The high-rise leggings held their compression through squats, stretching and a full studio class without rolling down at the waistband — a common failure point for soft-feel leggings that prioritize comfort over structure. The smooth fabric also didn't go sheer under stretch, which is worth checking given how often that's an issue at this price point.

Bralettes built for actual support

Rather than a soft bralette meant only for lounging, the Form bralette offered real support structure underneath its minimal look — supportive enough to wear through movement rather than just as a layering piece under a sweatshirt.

Matching sets as real outfits

The fleece crew and jogger sets are cut from the same fabric and designed to be worn together, and it showed — the scalloped detailing and matched tones made the set read as an actual outfit rather than two separate loungewear pieces that happened to be purchased together.

  • Best for: shoppers who want one piece that works for both a workout and running errands afterward
  • Fit tip: Form leggings run true to size — order your usual size rather than sizing up for extra give
  • Care tip: wash buttery-soft fabrics inside out and on cold to slow down pilling
“The test for 'studio to street' isn't how it looks in a photo — it's whether the waistband survives an actual class.”

Our verdict

Priv's Form line backs up its studio-to-street pitch with leggings that hold compression and a bralette with genuine support, not just soft fabric. The matching sets round out a routine worth building around, as long as you're prepared to baby the softest pieces in the wash.

What we liked

  • + High-rise leggings held compression through a full studio session without rolling down
  • + Bralettes offered real support, not just a soft-fabric layering piece
  • + Matching sets photograph and wear as put-together outfits, not mismatched separates

Where it falls short

  • − Buttery-soft fabric shows pilling faster than a technical performance blend
  • − Sizing runs closer to true-to-size than the forgiving stretch some leggings brands offer
